What is master data?
You and your co-workers share the same lists of sites and locations, teams, employees, activities, crops, products, and boxes. We call those lists "master data".
The master data is managed in the Priva cloud and synchronized from the cloud to the Team Registration App. Master data is necessary to be able to do registrations.
Add and edit master data
As a user, you must have Labour Manager rights to be able to add or edit the master data.
Editing one by one. All master data can be added and edited manually one by one.
Adding in bulk. In addition to this, lists of employees and activities can be imported via an Excel template. OSite and Locations With Sites and Locations, you are able to create one or multiple sites. For each site, one or multiple (sub) locations (fields) can be configured.
Make sure to add the essentials. On the overview page, you can see how many items you have of each master data category and whether you miss any information preventing proper registrations.
Add or edit teams
Under "Master Data" You can create one or multiple teams. It is important to note that team configuration in the master data consists of adding or editing the names of teams only. The actual assigning of employees to teams is done in the Team Registration App.
The list of teams is used for entering production on team level, reporting purposes and in the correction module (which will be explained later).
It is recommended to setup one team for each Supervisor.
Add or edit employees
Under "Master Data" you can add the employees for which you want to track labour and/or production. You can add them one by one, and you can import multiple employees at once from an Excel template.
Add or edit Activities
Under "Master Data" you can add the activities done by the employees.You can add them one by one, and you can import multiple employees at once from an Excel template. An activity can be configured
An activity can be configured as a productive activity (with result or without result), a non-productive activity or a break.
It is recommended to have at leat one ‘non-productive activity’ to register the ‘idle time’ if tracking idle time registration is important in your work process
Add or edit products
Under "Master Data" you can add general products, like ‘strawberry’ or ‘blueberry’. Products are used to connect box types to crops and for reporting purposes.
Add or edit crops
Under "Master Data" you can add the crops which are growing on your location (field).
You have to indicate: Name; Time when the crop is ‘active’; Whether production registration is done per employee or per team; the location where the crop is grown; product to which the crop belongs; and the surface area covered by the crop.
It is possible to change whether production registration is done per employee or per team during the season.
Add or edit boxes
Under "Master Data" you can configure the box types that are used during picking. A box type has a reference to a ‘standard box’ or to a standard unit like ‘kilo’. These standard ‘units’ are used to make the picking results per employee comparable in the dashboards and/or reports.
